Change Your Thoughts And Change Your World

Our thoughts are more powerful than we can imagine. If we can change our thoughts, we can change your life too. It makes no difference what our life is at the moment; we can change it for the better through our thoughts. Our thoughts determine what we are experiencing and what we will. Our thoughts will change our actions. If we think in a certain way, we will act that way.
Just telling ourselves to think differently may not always work. We need to be aware of what, when, and why we usually tell ourselves certain things. Once we know that, we can make the conscious effort to change it.
It can be hard to change something that’s been a part of us for a long time so be gentle. Building new habits takes time. It will also take a few time before our brain realizes, yes, it’s safe to do it this new way too.

Below is a small story with a big impact. You'll be amazed at the difference one can make by changing thoughts.

Japanese grocery stores had a problem. They are much smaller than shops in the USA and therefore don't have room to waste. Watermelons, big and round, wasted a lot of space. Most people would simply tell the grocery stores that watermelons grow round and there is nothing that can be done about it.

That is how majority of people would respond. But some Japanese farmers took a different approach. If the supermarkets wanted a square watermelon, they asked themselves, 'How can we provide one?'

The farmers did not assume it was impossible - and simply asked himself how it could be done and then found out that if we put the watermelon in a square box when they are growing, the watermelon will take on the shape of the box - and grow into a square fruit.

This made the grocery stores happy and had the added benefit that it was much easier and cost effective to ship the watermelons. Consumers also loved them because they took less space in their refrigerators which are much smaller than those in the US.

The few lessons that can be taken away from the story are:

1.Don’t assume
2.Question habits
3.Be creative
4.Look for better ways
5.Impossibilities often aren’t

Things can really change if we want them to change.
Open the doors and change your life.

Imagination is the beginning of creation - You imagine what you desire.

When you were a child, were you ever told something that was "all in your imagination"? Maybe you were scared of the monster and you were convinced that it was under the bed. Well, now that we're all grown up, I've got news for you. Everything is in our imagination. If we can imagine it, we can create it. And if we can activate our imagination in a positive way, we'll go a long ways towards turning our dreams into reality.

Albert Einstein said that imagination is the greatest creative force in the universe.

Henry Ford relied on imagination and belief. Walt Disney was very clear that if he had not seen the Disneyland in his mind, the rest of the world would not have seen it on this Earth.

Why would these great achievers give so much importance to imagination, when most of our elders are always exhorting us to get out of our imaginary world and face the real life?

Aladdin’s genie said, ‘Your wish is my command.’ We all are blessed with just such a genie at our command and this genie is our – Imagination. Our minds’ images are literally the blueprints from which our world is built and experienced.

Imagination is not limited only to seeing pictures in the mind. It includes all the five senses and the feelings. One can imagine a sound, taste, smell, a physical sensation or a feeling or emotion . This is a great power that can change our whole life.

  • I imagine how my successes will make me feel.
  • I enjoy imagining a bright future for myself.
  • I enjoy taking the steps to make my images come true.
  • I easily imagine myself doing my best.

"What you see is what you get"?

Following is the example of power of imagination. A child got the best painting award in the painting competition.

“ Imagination imitates. It is the critical spirit that creates.”
